Saami Tales of the Night sky consists of a booklet and a set of playing-cards about the night sky and its various phenomena. The main story dealt with by the booklet is that of the great moose hunt, and our aim, both with the booklet as well as with the playing-cards, is to bring this particular view of the night sky to a wider audience, as it is a completely different view to that of our neighbouring peoples. The booklet contains information and tales about the Saami night sky, and with the help of the playing-cards, you will be able to learn the names of stars and of other astronomical phenomena in Saami.
